Not a care in the World… Life lessons

Sometimes I wish that I could be little like you once again. To not have to worry, worry about what others think. Worry about grown up things… Like responsibilities, a job, or bills.

You are truly amazing Kid, your dad and I couldn’t be more happy to have you in our life.

Even after the hardest days at work, coming home to you makes it all worth it.  When I look into your eyes, the innocence… Not a care in the world.

You are a smart boy. Even when you have gotten into the most trouble you just know what to do, As you look into our eyes with your long gorgeous lashes and your sweet smile. You makes us forget why were mad at you in the first place. You’ve got us good Kid!

Thinking back to 2 years ago, your dad and I just don’t know! What would life be without you, how did we go day by day? It is a funny and amazing how such a tiny person {or should I say a 3 feet tall person?} can make an impact.

You teach us that its ok, and that things happen for a reason… that tomorrow is a new day.

Now here we are, 2 years in. As your dad and I look back and think of the memories we have made so far, and the ones that we have yet to make. We cant have but smile. A grim to goes from ear to ear!

Because without your innocence and your happiness we just wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves.

Don’t every change little buddy… It is nice to not have a care in the world.

Your dad and I should try that once in a while.

Thanks for being the example.

We also wanted you to know that things are about to change, that after 2 years of being alone in this house you will get a little sister. Someone that you will love and be forever friends with.

You might seem confused at first, but dadda and I promise that you will always be “our first baby” our chubby little boy that has us both wrapped around your little finger.

You are going to be a great Big Brother , trust us we know.

We love you FOREVER

Your proud parents,

PS: Thanks for the lesson!

  1. First of all, your little guy is ADORABLE. Love this idea of “things you’ve learned” from him. Might have to steal this idea from you….
Second, I’d love to follow you (from the Utah Bloggers group) but I don’t see a “follow” button – suggestions? Sorry if that’s a dumb question…
    Love your blog!
